Our Mission

To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Our Cause

At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That's why we focus our work in three areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

History of the Casper Family YMCA

For over 52 years, the Casper Family YMCA has been providing social and educational opportunities for people from all social classes and backgrounds and has always had the foresight to fulfill the social needs of our community. Like no other organization, the YMCA has the expertise, programs, and resources to change the future of our city. Since the original building was built in 1962, the YMCA has strengthened the fabric of our community by focusing on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
