  • Coordinate, plan and effectively implement youth sports 
  • Market and expand youth sports programs to target a broad audience 
  • Assist in other YMCA missioned programming, as needed
  • Respond to all inquiries and parent concerns in a timely and respectable manner
  • Build relationships with members, participants and prospects
  • Be ready and able to respond to any situation including but not limited to, injuries



  • High school diploma or its equivalent from an accredited school.
  • At least one year experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated maturity, punctuality and follow-through.



  • Understand the relationship of the general public to the association, of staff to volunteer, and of staff to staff, and be able to effectively enhance and cultivate those relationships.
  • Ability to interpret, carry out and implement into membership and programs, the mission and goals of the YMCA.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children alike.
  • Excellent telephone skills.

  • Ability to stand for a periods of time
  • Ability to relocate sports equipment (ranging 5-25 lbs)
