Check out the different Group Fitness Classes below: Cardio & Dance Strength Mind-Body Zumba Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music/dance themes that create a dynamic and exciting cardio class based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." The routines feature aerobic style interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Group Cycling This class is held on stationary indoor bikes for a low-impact, high aerobic workout. Routines will vary intensity between sprints, hill climbs and short spurts of active recovery. Class may include a small segment of strength and conditioning. From beginner to advanced, this class is suitable for all! HIIT Strength High Intensity Interval Training (aka HIIT) is an exercise method that incorporates alternating work and rest periods. The group-exercise adaptation of this workout has been designed to give participants a safe, challenging and results-driven experience. Fuel Dance The perfect combination of invigorating dance and traditional strength training (squats, lunges, etc.) all in one energizing session. You'll get cardio blasting, strength-building, lean muscle generating exercise that is so much fun you'll forget you are working out. Every class will leave you wanting more! An excellent workout for all fitness levels. POUND® Become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with Yoga and Pilates inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. It is a class that EVERYONE is sure to love! Rebel Dance Cardio-focused, hip hop/pop radio dance class. Routines are coordinated in a HIIT (high intensity interval training) style format. This class is guaranteed to get your heart pumping and legs moving. A great workout for all fitness levels. Active Older Adults Cardio Great beginner cardio fitness. Although geared towards our active older adults population, this class can be great for those wanting to get their heart and lungs pumping without the high-impact movements of some of our higher intensity classes. Classes are geared towards basic cardio fundamental exercises with body conscious movements. Lift Rx Designed by the talented team at BeachBody, this LIVE class is designed for optimal success. A 30-minute power class that will target arms and legs having you walk out of the YMCA feeling ready to start your day. Each class is geared with a warm-up, focus section targeting arms/legs, and a cooldown to give you a full workout in a short amount of time. RIP Rx RIP is a 60-minute barbell program for able-bodied men and women of all ages and all fitness levels. Matching movement to music and using traditional strength training allows participants to work at their own level. This is the perfect tool for instructors looking to breathe life back into their barbell classes. Burn & Build This dynamic class begins with an active warmup leading into circuit style training. Get your muscles firing with a moderate lifting portion with dumbbells, barbells, or bodyweight. Sweat out that last bit of stress with a intense cardio portion that will tone those muscles. Class typically ends with a cooldown/stretch to release tension and help prevent muscle soreness. Cycle & Strength Combine cardio and strength training into one 60-minute class with Cycle & Strength. Intense cardiovascular training is performed on a stationary bike, with bouts of sprints and hill climbs to challenge you. Strength training is performed off of the bike incorporating, elements of resistance and body weight exercises to create a stronger, more balanced body. Barre This popular exercise combines attributes of Pilates, yoga, cardio/dance and functional fitness training. Class incorporates small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion movements to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates upper and lower body. Vinyasa Yoga Vinyasa yoga is a popular style of yoga that consists of smooth transitions from one posture to another. In this class, you will focus on alignment, breathing and establishing your own mind-body connection. Explore a variety of postures in a yoga class perfect for all levels. Restorative Yoga Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing. Power Yoga Challenge yourself in this advanced yoga class. Explore the postures and principles of Vinyasa yoga in an invigorating full-body flow. This fast-paced yoga practice is designed to work every muscle while focusing on the classic breathwork of traditional yoga, ultimately providing an all-encompassing workout. Low-Impact Aquatics Youth Active & Ageless Focus on building strength in stamina, starting out your mornings right. Wake up bright and early to join a class that offers variety for all fitness levels. Classes maintain a balanced focus between the importance of cardio and strengthening with overall body conditioning. Fridays - Total Condition class walks outside. Active Older Adults Low-impact fitness, with strategic chair exercises. Class emphasis focuses on cardio and strength for overall functionality. Great beginner class for those just starting out, recovering from surgery, or golden agers. Deep Water Exercise Water exercise is a great low impact workout for all fitness levels that focuses on improving strength, balance, and flexibility. Aqua Fit This 45 minute aqua class is sure to get your heart pumping and muscles working! Class will consist of mixed cardio and strength. Water weights and other equipment may be utilized. Water Up!
