At the Y, membership means more than fitness. It means you belong. As a member of the Y you are part of the transformative work we do to strengthen community. We offer memberships that help you connect with your community and achieve your goals.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Everyone knows the Y as a place for childcare, swimming or exercise, but we’re so much more. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we’re working side-by-side with our neighbors to address critical community needs that help kids develop into smart, resilient adults, for people to improve their health and build a sense of community, and for our most vulnerable young people to get the care and support they need.
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That’s why we focus our work in three areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
The Y provides a variety of programs that support educational achievement, health & wellness, child care, summer day camp, water safety, veterans and families. As an organization, we strive to understand our community needs. We provide services and programs that cater specifically to the issues our children, families and neighborhoods face. Through crucial partnerships with local not-for-profit agencies, schools and organizations we are working hard to reach as many people as possible and make a lasting difference.
The Y is open to all people regardless of their ability to pay for programs and services, and as a result we provided over $300,000 in financial assistance in 2023. By investing in our kids, our health and our neighbors, the YMCA of Natrona County ensures that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to thrive – thereby strengthening our community.
