Summer is an amazing time for a child. Make 2023 the BEST SUMMER EVER for your kids by registering them for YMCA of Natrona County Summer Day Camp. Camps will fill up fast, so don’t wait to sign up!

Our camps offer incoming K-5th graders a fun, safe and engaging environment where they will find friend sand a sense of belonging & accomplishment. In order to have fun and thrive, kids need to feel both physically and emotionally safe. When you drop your child off at Y day camp, you can rest assured that their total well-being will be nurtured and supported by caring Y staff who are fully trained and committed to ensuring that their experience is a great one.

YMCA of Natrona County Kindercamp to be held at the Y. 1st-5th camp to be held at Park Elementary.

WEEKLY THEMES:

Week 1 – Out of this world: Out of this world week is about getting to know each other and the councilors. We will learn about the expectations of camp and how it will work the rest of the summer. We will also learn a bit about the solar system.

Week 2 – Dive Deep: Let’s dive deep into the ocean. The kids will learn about the animals that live in the ocean as well has how the ocean effects the life around it.

Week 3 – The Great Outdoors: Come explore the great outdoors. The children will get to spend much of their time this week exploring what Casper has to do outside!

Week 4 – Let’s Get Gardening: The kids will explore how to garden and plant some of their own tub gardens. Each child will get a garden to take home with them.

Week 5 – Sticks and Stones and Dino Bones: Join us on a grand adventure to explore dinosaurs and potentially find fossils.

Week 6 – Argh you a Pirate?: Argh mate join us on a grand adventure where we will sail the ocean blue and maybe learn something new!

Week 7 – How do you stay healthy?: Let’s get physically active. Join the Y camp in learning healthy habits and nutrition.

Week 8 – Let’s Recycle: What can you make out of what you find?

Week 9 – Think Outside the Box: Have you ever seen a dog with wings and sings Christmas music? What can you create that nobody has ever seen?

Y Nights at Casper Spuds

  • Games are held at Mike Lansing Field
  • 2025 Dates TBD
  • Y members can show their membership card at the box office for discounted pricing
  • Y youth program participants who wear their Y shirt receive free admission

Pumpkin Plunge

Join the Y for our annual Pumpkin Plunge community event. Costumes are encouraged, but don’t forget your swim suit if you want to enjoy open swim and pick your pumpkin out of the pool! We will have pumpkins available outside of the pool for those who may not want to swim. Other activities include: pumpkin decorating, face painting, pumpkin bowling, coloring, crafts, snacks and more! *Limit 1 pumpkin per child (child must be present at event) 

**Not a Y member? Please bring your photo id (adults) and be prepared to complete a liability waiver. 

YMCA Healthy Kids Day®

When: May 31, 2025 10am-12pm

Where: David Street Station

Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s  national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. Join the Y, our sponsor and our community partners for some outdoor fun at David Street Station!

YMCA Wall of Honor Luncheon & Celebration

The YMCA of Natrona County Wall of Honor Luncheon, to be held May 21, 2025, is an opportunity to celebrate those who have given of their time, talents and treasures in service of the YMCA. During the Wall of Honor Celebration, the YMCA honors individuals, businesses, volunteers and donors who have stood out in their support of the Y and its mission. The luncheon features each honoree and the story of their connection to the YMCA. Honorees are presented with a plaque and a matching plaque is hung on the “Wall of Honor” in the NERD YMCA of Natrona County facility.
