The YMCA of Natrona County is hosting a Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) event to provide boys and girls an opportunity to showcase their baseball skills, with the opportunity of earning a chance to attend and compete for a Championship during the 2026 MLB World Series!

The YMCA of Natrona County’s event – Pitch, Hit & Run is FREE  for boys and girls, and consists of a series of movements that are important in baseball and softball. Participants will compete in their respective age division: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, or 13-14 years, with the age cut-off set on November 15, 2026. They will be tested, and their measurements will be recorded for points. Based on their scores, they will advance from a Local Event to a Team Championship and then to the Finals hosted at the World Series. This is a drop-in style of event allows for kids to come during either session at any time to complete each area of skills and may leave following completing their score card.

Partnering up with the Casper Spuds, participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with the Spuds players while competing in the Pitch, Hit, & Run event. Following the event at 6PM, the Spuds invite all participants to come to the their game for FREE! Winners of the PHR event will be announced at the game!

All participants have the option to join the Spuds and the YMCA Youth Sports Program in Parade Day on July 7th with handing out goodies. The PHR winners will have the option to join the Spuds on the Winners’ Float!
